"About ten days after the explosion, we began to see an uptick in interest and concern. We knew that we had to find a way to get information out quickly to our member governments and this seemed to be the best avenue," said Les Newcomb, Executive Director. The site went live by the afternoon of April 30th and is also accessible through Facebook and Twitter.
